D.B.K.S. - TIPS | TUTORIALS | TRADE SECRETS
I created D.B.K.S. (Directed by Ken Simpson) as tutorial series to help demystify the directing process after noticing just how many people (including fellow filmmakers) took the art of suspending disbelief for granted. By using my own works as examples, hopefully I can share a technique or two and demonstrate just how much time and energy is expended to create shots, scenes & stories that (hopefully) seem natural and effortless.
I attempt to upload an episode every Monday but rarely succeed. The intention is to keep the episodes as short as possible but occasionally I end up with the odd 20 minute rant :0
Do you have a question about some of my work that you'd like me to cover? Let me know… I might just make a tutorial about it!
